The Riverhawk Torque and Real Time Alignment System TAS3100 is the only product on the market capable of supplying a misalignment indication while the machine is in operation and the shaft is rotating. Our “Hot Alignment” System measures actual shaft position, not case movement. It provides live information on the state of the coupling, which is useful for condition monitoring and assists in the evaluation of the coupling and bearing loading. The continuous monitoring of the equipment will enable operators to recognize performance deterioration, which may reduce efficiency or cause a catastrophic shutdown

In addition to the RDT2100 system, the TAS3100 includes an Analog Output Module, referred to as the AOM. This unit receives data via communications from the Monitor and produces nine analog outputs representing nine data values including torque, speed, power, gaps, alignment and more. The outputs are 4-20mA current sources sharing a common ground.  Each output has separate connections for the signal line, a return line, and a shield. The AOM is powered by AC line voltage and is optically isolated from the rest of the system.

The TAS3100 is the only system in the world to provide real time coupling alignment data during normal operation. Additionally,  the system provides torque, speed and power data based on the most accurate sensing mechanism, the strain gauge bridge. The system is comprised of four main components and three interconnecting cables and provides nine analog outputs to transmit data for higher-level system monitoring.
